During your stay, join us for our relaxed evening experiences held under our cosy stretch tent, with themed evenings throughout the summer holidays including Pottery, Pizza & Bar, Pizza & Bar Nights and our popular Chill & Grill evenings. Throughout the rest of the year, takeaway pizza is available on selected evenings, along with special Chill & Grill events on Bank Holiday weekends.
It’s the perfect way to unwind after a day exploring North Wales. Enjoy freshly prepared food, a drink from our bar and friendly conversation as the fire pit glows, the music plays softly in the background and the games get going — or simply grab a pizza to take back to your accommodation and enjoy a relaxed evening in your own space.
☀️Summer Holiday Evenings
Held under our stretch tent with beautiful mountain views, our summer evening events have become one of the highlights of staying at Erw Glas.
Throughout the school summer holidays, we host three different themed evenings each week, all sharing the same relaxed atmosphere that guests return year after year to enjoy.
You’ll find covered seating under our cosy stretch tent, a relaxed and sociable atmosphere, and plenty of space for everyone to unwind. Children can enjoy outdoor and table games while grown-ups often find themselves joining in too – it’s all part of the fun, friendly community feel that guests love about Erw Glas.
Our pop-up bar offers a fantastic choice of drinks, including refreshing soft drinks, chilled beers, ciders and wines, along with seasonal specials throughout the summer such as fruity pink gin with fresh berries and refreshing sangria. It’s the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere while the music plays softly in the background.
These evenings only run for a few hours, usually from 4pm to 7pm, giving you time afterwards to relax in your hot tub, sit outside your tent, or simply enjoy a quiet evening under the mountains.
🎨 Mondays – Pottery, Pizza & Bar
Every Monday throughout the school summer holidays our Pizza evening gets a creative twist! Join us under the stretch tent for freshly made pizza, drinks from the bar, outdoor games, music and our relaxed, sociable atmosphere, with the added bonus of pottery painting provided by Tan y Ddraig Pottery.
There will be a fantastic selection of pottery pieces to choose from on the evening, suitable for all ages and budgets. Simply pick your favourite piece, settle in with a drink or a pizza and enjoy creating your own unique keepsake.
Once your masterpiece is complete, it will be carefully taken back to the pottery studio where it will be professionally glazed and kiln fired, ready to either collect at a later date or have posted directly to your home.
It’s a wonderful activity for families, couples, friends or anyone looking to try something a little different, and you’ll leave with a unique keepsake to remember your holiday.

Thursday evenings are all about enjoying great food, good company and making the most of those long summer evenings.
Freshly made stone-baked pizzas are cooked to order with a choice of delicious toppings, while our pop-up bar serves a range of refreshing drinks, local favourites and seasonal specials.
With outdoor and table games, background music, cosy seating under our stretch tent and beautiful mountain views, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring North Wales. Whether you’re sharing a pizza with family, catching up with friends over a drink or simply soaking up the relaxed atmosphere, it’s a lovely way to spend a summer evening.
Of course, if you’d rather enjoy your pizza back at your shepherd hut, glamping tent or pitch, takeaway is still available too.
🍔 Saturdays - Chill & Grill
Our popular Chill & Grill evenings return every Saturday throughout the school summer holidays and have become a real guest favourite over the years.
As the barbecue gets going, the stretch tent fills with the smell of freshly cooked food, laughter, music and families enjoying a relaxed summer evening together. With mountain views, outdoor and table games, drinks from the bar and plenty of cosy seating, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring everything North Wales has to offer.
Enjoy our premium Welsh beef cheeseburgers, delicious spit-roast pulled pork baps, and other barbecue favourites, with plant-based options available on request. Whether you’re catching up with friends over a drink, watching the children enjoy the games or simply soaking up the friendly atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to round off a summer’s day at Erw Glas.
🍕Visiting Outside The Holidays?
If you’re not staying with us during the school summer holidays, you won’t miss out completely! Throughout much of the year, we still fire up our wood-fired pizza oven on selected evenings, serving our delicious freshly made stone-baked pizzas for you to take away and enjoy from the comfort of your shepherd hut, glamping tent or camping pitch.
It’s the perfect way to round off a day exploring North Wales – no cooking, no washing up, just great food and a relaxing evening back at your accommodation.
And remember, our popular Chill & Grill evenings also return on selected Bank Holiday weekends throughout the year, bringing back the stretch tent, bar, outdoor games and relaxed atmosphere that our guests know and love.
